Education in Sheffield

Sheffield has two universities - the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam University - which together bring about 54,000 students to the city each year.

Sheffield has two further education colleges, 137 primary schools, 25 secondary schools (seven of which have sixth forms), a sixth-form college and six independent private schools.
