RUTLAND RD GARAGE I received a letter from steadfast reminding me my MOT was due, they offered me a reduced price of £39 as a loyalty offer as I had my van motd there Last year, I booked my van for the MOT over the phone explaining I had lost the letter and would the offer still stand , he spoke to his boss and said yes that's no problem, my van failed the mot and required repairs costing £350, as I am no longer working due to health issues and the van getting little use I decided not to have the van repaired, when I went to collect the van he charged me £55 for the mot not £39 as was agreed on , when I explained we agreed on £39 he said no thats only for class 4 not class 7 , I explained the letter had my reg no printed on it , he said thats an automated letter they just send out and nothing to do with me , even though this guy I was speaking to had agreed to the fee of £39 , it seems because I decided not to have it repaired he upped the price back up to &po und;55 , dont answer emails.
