A management committee who think that because they are a voluntary committee it means that they don't have to do anything or learn anything. To them ignorance is bliss and think they can just say 'it's a voluntary committee'. They don't realise that isn't the way things are done nowadays. They see it as having kudos and think they are really cool when in actual fact they should be out there learning how to be efficient and effective. They think they are not accountable to anybody. The bad news is - you are accountable. They have handed all responsibility to a (mis) managing agent and don't realise that the agent couldn't care less..
