"Chisels"

I worked for Dudley Port Rolling Mills many years ago before it was sold to the Americans who closed it and sold the land for building. We produced many shapes in all steels and octagons was one of them primarily used for the manufacture of chisels. I became friends with Alan and his wife who helped him in the business and then Steve his son and his sister took over the business and were successful in it's running.

I understand they may have sold the original works in Sheffield and took over C.I.Jenkinson whose works were in Penistone Road and as far as I know they are still there today.

Despite my efforts I never managed to sell to Jenkinson's only to Wasden's.
