I was a resident there from 1971 to 1972 i can remember dr murphy and dr holt and sister Eyre and sister palmer i can also remember some of the nursing staff who will sadly have passed away now s.e.n nurse jones and s.e.n nurse knight and also a wonderful Jamaican lady called s.e.n nurse Robinson and also auxiliary nurse Barrowclough and auxiliary nurse Murgatroyd it was a very traumatic and emotional time in my life as my parents were getting divorced and my life was in bits i can remember sister Eyre teaching us piano in the dining room which had a calming effect on my nerves and that really was my first introduction to music and had a profound effect on my Musical interest which i still have to this day.
