A review of Royal Mail by PCTsar written on Friday 7th of December 2012
I would really like to know where my post goes. I have had post sent out from various sources, correctly addressed and I just don't receive it. A friend has re-posted an invite on two separate occasions and I have received neither. My brother has posted my Christmas card from Australia which again I haven't received, despite the rest of my family (including my Aunt who lives on the same road as me) receiving theirs! I have had confidential important correspondence go missing. I have also had confidential post which has been delivered to another address 5 roads away from me. The house number was the same but the road name couldn't have been more different. Fortunately the occupier brought the post to me. I am not the only person on my road with this problem. I also get post for other people. I did attend at the sorting office in Chapeltown, Sheffield and spoke with the Manager. He was clearly not interested and didn't even write any information down. He did say he would monitor my address - I won't hold my breath. This level of service is totally un-acceptable and unfortunately, if it doesn't get sorted I will take the matter to the Ombudsman and press..
