A review of A Swift Cooker Repair by Anonymus written on Friday 11th of October 2013
I asked A Swift to have a look at my cooker as I thought that the thermostat was not meeting temperature. The guy arrived and tested with this temperature probe and confirmed the thermostat was working correctly, all within 20 minutes. He then went on to clean 2 glass panels and the inside of the cooker, which was not very dirty to start with and I didn't ask him to do. Once finished I asked how much do I owed him and was surprised to hear he required £80. I thought this was a bit expensive as NO parts had been changed and all he had done was test the temperature of the oven and cleaned 2 glass panels. As I only had £50 in cash which I advised him of, he reduced his price and took £50 with no receipt. My advice is get a quote for the job first, as I wish I had, as the job did not warrant £50 let alone £80!!.
